As an organisation in general we operate in
a relatively low environmental impact industry.
Through our documented Business Innovation
Process, we are continually evaluating the impact
on the environment of the products we sell and
organisations consumption of goods and utilities.
We support environment friendly policies within our
offices and feel it our responsibility to set a good
example.
Our company has a Paperless Office ethos. We have
created systems that do not require paper and any
paper that is necessary is shredded in house and
collected for recycling.
We have opted to provide fresh fruit for our teamm on
a daily basis, rather than packaged snacks. Not only
is the fruit healthier, it also has no environmentally
unfriendly plastic packaging.
We continue to review our recycling systems
for all operations and our new office headquarters
is being built with a multitude of energy saving
devices including power, lighting, heating, insulation
etc.
All UK carrier bags are made of low-density
recyclable polyethylene and whenever possible
chlorine free paper is used made from wood from
sustainable forests.
We continue to review our co2 emissions and are
actively working towards becoming carbon neutral
as an organisation. Our company cars have been
changed to diesel in order to lower emissions.
With regard to cleaning products, all related
companies have an ongoing commitment to use
wherever possible non-toxic and eco-friendly
products and equipment.
